Twirl!

So I was running out of my watercolor pad, and decided to order a new one. I usually was using regular 90 lbs watercolor paper from Michael’s, since it was only $2.50 per pad of 10 sheets, and it looked pretty smooth. I decided to try thicker paper, so I got 140 lbs pad of 12 sheets for around $5.

I don’t know if I don’t know how to use it properly or what, but I noticed that when I put the color on, it starts spreading further from where I applied it. Hummm… Is that what heavy watercolor paper is supposed to do? Btw, it’s cold press. Let me know if you have any insight on this!

Also, it doesn’t dry as quick, and it made my pen marks dissolve. I guess I have to practice more on it and readjust.

Besides that, here is my new fashion illustration. I haven’t done one in what seems like awhile.

I want your feedback!
